CUSTOMIZED METHODS TO MAKE GIVING EASY
INTRODUCTION:
U.S. Missions is an Assemblies of God ministry dedicated to evangelism in the United States. Currently, over 900 missionaries and chaplains are sharing the gospel in all 50 states, Puerto Rico and the Virgin Islands. All of them rely on donations to carry out their ministry.
Each missionary is required to have enough signed Faith Promises to cover the amount of the missionary's budget before the missionary is authorized to work full-time on their assigned mission field. They must also maintain enough Faith Promises to remain on the field.
WHAT IS A FAITH PROMISE?
A faith Promise is a great way to show missionaries you value them by giving again and again. The Missionary Faith Promise Form is a convenient way to make a commitment to your desired missionary or ministry. Once we obtain your form, an information packet and certificate suitable for framing will be mailed to you. Remember this is a "faith" promise... not a "pledge"...
not a "budgeted" promise. A faith promise says
"With God's help I will give this much support each month."
The burden is on God to provide... not what you can budget.
How do you know how much to make out your faith promise for?
Since you are relying on God to provide, the best way to know how much to make the faith promise for is simply to ask God. Then fill out your form for the amount He says.

Today there are many options available besides putting money in an offering plate. Through various methods, making donations to missionaries and ministries is quick, easy, and specific. Please invest in the eternal Kingdom of God by supporting our missionaries. Please help your missionary get to the field by mailing or faxing a signed Faith Promise form as soon as possible.
INTERESTING FACTS ABOUT YOUR SUPPORT FOR MISSIONARIES:
* 95% of your donation will go directly to the missionary or to their ministry
* Your financial donation will help provide housing, living expenses, medical insurance, and supplies
* You can designate your offerings so that your church will receive world ministries credit.
CHURCH DONOR
Churches contribute a large portion of support to our missionaries. By checking the "Church" box on the form, your congregation can start giving to a U.S. Missions missionary or ministry immediately and receive world mission's credit.
INDIVIDUAL OR BUSINESS DONOR
We not only encourage… we rely heavily on individuals and businesses to give to the cause of Christ in America. Please check the “Individual” Box on the form. If you are a first time donor, disregard the account number; one will be assigned to you on your first receipt.
CAN I SET UP MY DONATIONS WITH A CREDIT/DEBIT CARD?
Because of speed and simplicity, credit/debit cards are the fastest-growing method of payment around the world.
We offer two ways to use your credit/debit card.
AUTHORIZATION AGREEMENT
Use the Authorization Agreement for Automatic Credit Card Transactions for approval of monthly contributions from your credit/debit card account. After completing the form, you can either mail or fax it to U.S. Missions. - U.S. Missions accepts Visa, Master Card, and Discover
- A receipt will be mailed for your records and the gift will be listed on your monthly credit card statement.
- Monthly contributions will be charged to credit/debit card accounts on the 20th of each month.
HOW ABOUT MATCHING GIFTS
Make your gift dollars go even further through your company’s matching gift program. Thousands of companies have matching gift programs which double or even triple individual contributions made by employees and retirees to non-profit organizations.

After receiving your gift, we will immediately send you a receipt. Along with the receipt, you will also be given a form to send in with your next donation.
* CAN I DEDUCT MY DONATION FROM MY TAXES?
Contributors are entitled to a tax deduction because U.S. Missions is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. The receipts donors receive is their IRS document. Keep them in a safe place in order to claim them for the next tax filing season. Visit www.irs.gov or call a tax expert for more details.
* IS THERE A WAY TO MAKE DONATIONS QUARTERLY OR YEARLY?
Yes you can give as many times a year as you desire.
* WHAT IF I MISSED A MONTHLY DONATION?
In the event you miss a month, you will not receive a statement or envelope for the following month.
